PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The CompTIA Security+ course at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 225-hour training program designed to build students’ foundational knowledge in cybersecurity. This course introduces essential concepts of network security, compliance, and operational security. It is perfect for individuals aiming to start or advance their careers in cybersecurity and IT security roles.
PROGRAM PREREQUISITES:
Students taking this course should be familiar with personal computers, the use of a keyboard and a mouse. Furthermore, this course assumes that you have completed one of the following courses:
- Windows 7: Basic
- Windows 10: Basic
Must have: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Must score: 10 or higher in CASAS
