Overview
The Certified Hospitality Management Professional Program at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 1,350-clock-hour immersive training experience designed for students pursuing careers in hotel operations, food service, event planning, and hospitality entrepreneurship. This program includes six 225-clock-hour modules:
- HP110: Foundations of Hospitality
Learn the structure of the hospitality industry, guest service principles, and key trends shaping hospitality today. - HP120: Hotel Operations & Front Office Management
Understand the daily operations of hotel front desks, reservations, guest services, and front-of-house administration. - HP130: Housekeeping, Maintenance & Facilities
Train in industry-standard cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and team management for facility operations. - HP140: Restaurant & Food Service Operations
Gain experience in restaurant management, customer service, health compliance, inventory, and dining room coordination. - HP150: Event Planning & Banquet Management
Learn how to organize and execute corporate events, weddings, and banquets—from logistics to vendor coordination. - HP160: Hospitality Entrepreneurship & Leadership
Develop the leadership, financial, and branding skills needed to launch or manage a hospitality business.

Students apply their training in live hospitality settings while earning income:
- Eligibility: 450 hours completed, 90% attendance, GPA of 2.5+
- Hourly Pay: $16–$22/hour
- Work Hours: 10–20 hours/week
- Opportunities: Through Ideal’s partnerships with local hotels, casinos, restaurants, and venues in Atlantic City and surrounding areas
