Admissions Process

Admission Process at Ideal Institute of Technology

To begin your journey toward a fulfilling and successful career in Ideal’s In Demand Career Programs, you must first begin the admission process. If you haven’t already done so, please contact our admissions team to learn how we can help you achieve your career goals.

Meet the Admissions Team

The first step in the admission process is to attend a virtual info session. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about the college, your program of interest, and the admissions requirements. Based on your background and experience, we will help you decide on the career and program that is the best fit for you.

School Tour

After you’ve met with the admissions team, you are welcome to schedule a tour of our campus. This will give you the opportunity to see our classrooms and medical labs up close. You may even get the chance to see some of our classes in action.

Student Accounts and Financial Aid

After attending an info session, your program specialist can help you set up a virtual meeting with a financial aid advisor. During the meeting, you’ll learn about payment plan options, federal student aid, and other funding options.

Application and Enrollment

Once you have attended an info session, gathered all of the necessary information, submitted your FAFSA (if applicable), and decided on a program, the next step is to submit your application.

Enrollment Process

Step 1: Submit online application

To initiate the enrollment process, you must submit the online application.

Step 2: Schedule enrollment appointment with admissions department

The enrollment appointment will be virtual. A separate appointment may be required for the enrollment interview.

Step 3: Submit pre-enrollment documents

Log in to your application portal to submit all of the required admission documents. All documents must be submitted on or before the day of the enrollment appointment.

 

Step 4: Take online entrance exam (If Applicable Admission team will schedule it) 

The entrance exam will be taken online prior to the enrollment appointment.

Step 5: Complete enrollment appointment

Students will complete an interview, finalize their funding (E.g., payment plan, financial aid, etc.), pay a $50 admin fee, complete all required enrollment documents, and sign the enrollment contract. Some students may complete the interview prior to the enrollment appointment.

Step 6: Submit additional documentation

All pending admission documents should be submitted by the first day of class.

 

Rolling Admissions for Open Enrollment Programs

Ideal has a rolling admission policy for all open enrollment programs. Once a start date is published for a program, students are welcome to apply and/or enroll in the program. Applications are not accepted for programs without an official start date. Once a student is accepted and/or fulfills all admission requirements for a particular program, he or she may enroll in that program. Admissions remain open until the maximum number of students has been reached for the cohort.
