PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In Ideal Institute of Technology’s Adobe Dreamweaver course introduces you to the latest advancement of this amazing web design application. Whether you are new to Dreamweaver or have used it before, Andy will take you through the basics of Web Design, from the planning stages of a new site all the way through to the finished product. You will start out by learning how to build a basic site page, including how to create an external link and working with titles and text. Once you have that down, this training course will show you how to use the Dreamweaver layout tools, add text and pictures, add tables, and work with forms. You will learn about working with templates, library items, and snippets.
PROGRAM PREREQUISITES:
Students should be familiar with using a personal computer, mouse, and keyboard. They should have the ability to launch and close activities and navigate to information stored on the computer. They should also have an ability to manage files and folders. You can purchase the software or obtain a trial version of it from the Adobe website.
- Must have: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Must score: 9 or higher in CASAS
After completing this course, you will be familiar with the tools and techniques available to you in order to create remarkable websites. You will have extensive knowledge of :
- Using preferences and keyboard shortcuts.
- Adding images to your web pages.
- Linking your web pages.
- An introduction to HTML.
- Learn about CSS and why it’s important.
- Working with tables.
- Inserting multimedia on your web pages.
- Publishing your content.

Student will have access to all necessary equipment and supplies such as Laptops, Computers, Adobe Suite for the duration of the course.

Students who successfully complete an Adobe Dreamweaver course will be able to secure jobs as Adobe Associate, Adobe Experts, Graphic Designer or Web Designer. An adobe Dreamweaver certificate validates that an individual has the basic skills to plan, design, build and maintain effective communications using a specific form of digital media. He may apply for work locally or he may pursue jobs internationally by taking additional training if needed.
