PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In Ideal Institute of Technology’s Adobe InDesign Course together we will work through real life projects starting with a simple company flyer, brochure, etc. We will make business cards and take control of long projects. We will work with color, picking your own and/or using corporate colors. You will explore how to choose and use fonts like a professional. We will find, resize, and crop images for your documents. Our goal is for you to finish this course with all the necessary skills to start making beautiful documents using Adobe InDesign CC.
PROGRAM PREREQUISITES:
This class is appropriate for novice to intermediate level users of InDesign. It is expected that users have a basic understanding of why and how they expect to use InDesign for publishing their documents. Bringing samples of desired or previous work is helpful but not required. We also recommend that you have the Adobe InDesign software before starting the class. You can purchase the software or obtain a trial version of it from the Adobe website.
- Must have: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Must score: 9 or higher in CASAS
After completing this course, you will learn to design your own Brochures, business cards, etc. Purpose of this course is to teach you to:
- You’ll learn to design a flyer, newsletter, brochure, annual report & business cards.
- Learn how to create PDF files ready for printing.
- You will get the finished files, so you never fall behind.
- Downloadable exercise files & cheat sheet.
- Techniques used by professional graphic designers.

Student will have access to all necessary equipment and supplies such as Laptops, Computers, Adobe Suite for the duration of the course.
Student will have full access to our Learning Management System (LMS) portal, Google Classroom and Live Webinars. We will be providing resources in the form of PowerPoints, video tutorials, quizzes, assessments and much more.

CAREER TITLES:
Students who successfully complete an Adobe InDesign course will be able to secure jobs as Adobe Associate, Adobe Experts, Graphic Designer or Web Designer. An Adobe InDesign certificate validates that an individual has the basic skills to plan, design, build, and maintain effective communications using a specific form of digital media. He may apply for work locally or he may pursue jobs internationally by taking additional training if needed.
