This program offers in-depth instruction in core construction skills, including blueprint reading, site preparation, framing, finishing, roofing, drywall, and interior/exterior systems. Students will receive nationally recognized certifications such as NCCER Core Curriculum, NCCER Carpentry Levels 1–3, and the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification, ensuring they are equipped with the credentials required by today’s job market.
The Construction Specialist with Carpentry Certification Program is structured into
seven 225-clock-hour courses, providing a well-rounded education in building
maintenance, carpentry, and construction management:
- CO100: Foundation Skills in Building Maintenance
Learn essential skills for building maintenance including safety protocols, tools,
materials, and basic repairs. - CO110: Advanced Techniques in Building Maintenance
Advance your understanding of maintenance systems, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics. - CO120: Carpentry Level 1
Gain foundational carpentry skills, including trade orientation, construction drawings,
and basic framing. - CO210: Carpentry Level 2
Build on your knowledge with advanced framing techniques, drywall installation,
and finishing work. - CO220: Carpentry Level 3
Learn specialized skills such as stair building, roofing, and custom cabinetry. - CO230: Carpentry Level 4
