The Construction Specialist with HVAC Certification Program at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 1575-clock-hour training program designed to equip students with the skills and certifications required for a successful career in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems and construction. This program combines in-depth classroom instruction with hands-on learning, preparing students to excel in residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC applications.
In addition to HVAC expertise, students will learn essential building maintenance skills and gain valuable experience in managing unique construction projects, such as tiny homes. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a paid Work-Based Learning program, providing real-world experience in the construction and HVAC fields.
- This program includes seven 225-clock-hour courses, offering a comprehensive curriculum that combines foundational knowledge, technical skills, and real-world applications:
- CO100: Building Maintenance Certification Part I (225 clock hours)

- Eligibility: Maintain a 90% attendance rate, complete 450 clock hours, and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hourly Pay: $16–$22 per hour.
- Work Hours: 10–20 hours per week.
