Additionally, students have the opportunity to gain professional experience through a paid Work-Based Learning opportunity, preparing them for a successful career in the dynamic field of film and media.
- This program consists of four comprehensive courses, each designed to build expertise in different aspects of film production:
- FM100: Foundations of Digital Film and Media Production (225 clock hours)
Gain an introduction to the principles of filmmaking, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, basic cinematography, and video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. - FM110: Digital Film Production and Audio Engineering (225 clock hours)
Learn the essentials of film production and sound design. Master on-set operations, sound recording, and audio engineering using Adobe Audition to create professional-quality soundtracks. - FM120: Advanced Digital Film Production Certification (225 clock hours)
Advance your skills with color grading, motion graphics, and special effects using tools such as Adobe After Effects. Learn how to elevate production quality with cutting-edge techniques. - FM150: Film and Media Hands-On Project (225 clock hours)
Apply your skills to a real-world project, creating a professional-grade film or media production. This capstone project will serve as a centerpiece for your professional portfolio.

- Eligibility: Maintain a 90% attendance rate, complete 450 clock hours, and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hourly Pay: $16–$22 per hour.
- Work Hours: 10–20 hours per week.
