The Entrepreneurship in Web Development Program at Ideal Institute of Technology is an 1125-clock-hour training program designed for individuals who aspire to launch and manage their own web development businesses or work as skilled web development professionals. This program combines entrepreneurial training with hands-on technical skills in front-end and back-end web development, WordPress, and e-commerce platforms.
With a focus on empowering students to start and operate their businesses, the program also includes a paid Work-Based Learning opportunity to provide valuable real-world experience. Students will graduate with the technical expertise and entrepreneurial knowledge needed to succeed in the competitive field of web development.
This program includes six 225-clock-hour courses, offering a balanced mix of entrepreneurship and web development training:
- EP110: Entrepreneurship 1 (225 clock hours)
Gain foundational business knowledge, including how to develop a business plan, manage finances, and understand market dynamics. - EP120: Entrepreneurship 2 (225 clock hours)
Learn advanced entrepreneurship skills such as branding, digital marketing, and scaling a business for long-term success. - CE410: Front-End Development (225 clock hours)
Master the art of creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular. - CE420: Back-End Development (225 clock hours)
Learn to build and manage robust server-side applications, work with databases, and develop secure APIs using technologies like Node.js and Python. - CE440: WordPress Developer (225 clock hours)
Become proficient in designing and customizing websites using WordPress, the most popular content management system, with a focus on themes, plugins, and SEO optimization. - CE450: E-Commerce Developer (225 clock hours)
Learn to create and manage e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and OpenCart. Develop skills in payment gateway integration, product inventory management, and optimizing online stores for sales.

- Eligibility: Maintain a 90% attendance rate, complete 450 clock hours, and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Hourly Pay: $16–$22 per hour.
- Work Hours: 10–20 hours per week.
