Digital Literacy

Overview

Digital literacy means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasing through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. In the past few decades, technology has spanned the globe, connecting people in a whole new way. As a result, citizens of all countries have not only had to learn to use new technology, but also learn how to interact with one another. Skills that comprise these abilities have been combined under the “digital literacy.”
