May 22 – Pearson VUE Testing Center is established and open for business in Absecon.
April 10 – Ideal’s Tech-on-Wheels Van is ready to be used to make electronic repairs

October 22 – Pleasantville School Board approves TV and Technology proposal for Ideal Institute to provide school approved curriculum, instruction, and training for MED130 TV Production 1-3 for 75 high school students.
Nov. 1 – Ideal Institute of Technology contracts to purchase two buildings – 117 and 123 S. Main Street in Pleasantville – to construct a three-story building to construct a Career and Business Resource Center (CBRC). Settlement may take place at the end of February 2019.
Dec. 27 – Ideal Tech Center DBA Ideal Savings Club
Dec. – By the end of the year, plans to move school to Pleasantville fall through. The property has an easement with the city which eliminated any plans for building and improvements. Property search for a new location extends to Hamilton Mall.
January 7 – Ren signed a new lease for a second-floor Unit 2141 in the Hamilton Mall which will house the Ideal Institute. He also signed the lease for a second space, Unit 2063, on the second floor to house a virtual game room, which will tentatively open on April 1.
February 21 – Construction begins in the new Ideal Institute of Technology at the Hamilton Mall.
February 27 & 28 – Ren Parikh, Rodrick Green, and Chris Bachman traveled to the Amazon Fulfillment Center in the Richmond area to recruit employees to take Appliance Repair classes. An instructor was also hired to teach the classes. These classes came about with an agreement signed with American College Consortium (ACC) to become a training provider.
March 27 – Chris Bachman started teaching Appliance Repair classes to approximately 17 employees at Amazon Fulfillment Center in Richmond, VA.
April 26 – Ideal Institute is awarded 30 apprenticeships through the GAINS contract in association with the Atlantic County One-Stop.
May 2 – The staff of Ideal Institute of Technology came together to celebrate the third anniversary of the school’s first employee, Martha Zechman, and the remarkable growth of Ideal in its first three years of existence.
May 23 – A Ribbon Cutting ceremony and Grand Opening for Ideal VR Lab at the Hamilton Mall was held at 3 p.m.
June 14 – Ideal’s first iAchieved Success graduation and dinner for the First Step to Careers (Out-of-School youth) program. The ceremony was from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Comfort Inn and Suites Atlantic City North, Absecon. Dr. Clarence Alston was the guest speaker.
Oct. 11, 2019 – Ideal goes to closing to purchase the property at 121-123 S. Main Street, Pleasantville. The OSY, Appliance Repair, and the Tech Center will move into the building.
Nov. 15, 2019 – Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting held at 121-123 S. Main Street from 10 a.m. to noon for the Ideal SEED Center, which will house the First Step to Careers and, Appliance Repair programs, and the Ideal Tech Center.
Dec. 10, 2019 – Grand opening and Ribbon Cutting for Ideal Institute of Technology at the Hamilton Mall, Mays Landing.

March 17, 2020 – Governor declares state of emergency and closes schools and businesses. Ideal Institute of Technology and its affiliates shut down until July 1 for the COVID-19 Pandemic. Learning continues through hybrid classes.
April – The OSY grant was awarded to Ideal Institute.
July 6, 2021 – Ideal Institute of Technology reopens for staff. Students continue their hybrid classes.
September – Application was submitted to Trenton for Welfare to Work, Inc., DBA Changemakers.
Sept. 2, 2020 – Purchase of Ginsberg Bakery in Atlantic City becomes a reality. Talks are in process for the purchase of the building. Ideal would become part of the Atlantic City revitalization.
September 28 – A lease was signed at The Walk in Atlantic City to open a 3,500 sq. ft. VR Lab in the city.
Oct. 1 – Middle States Association announced that Ideal Institute was accepted as a candidate for accreditation.
Oct. 15, 2020 – An application to make the Seed Center in Pleasantville a branch campus is sent to the NJ Department of Education and the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Nov. 2020 – Ginsberg Bakery purchase is tabled because of environmental issues. The search continues for a new home in Atlantic City.
Nov. 17, 2020 – Ideal Experiential Learning, DBA Ideal AC Esports, filed a land use compliance with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) to open a VR lab in Tanger Outlets, 113 N. Michigan Ave., Atlantic City.
January 22, 2021 – The DOE and DOL officially approve the address change for the Mays Landing campus from 175 W. Absecon Blvd., Absecon, NJ 08201 to 4403 Black Horse Pike, Unite 2141, Mays Landing, NJ 08330
January 26, 2021 – The NJ DOE and DOL officially approve and license 121-123 S. Main St, Pleasantville, as a branch campus of Ideal Institute of Technology. Dhara Bachman is the director of the campus and Sunny Bhardwaj is the co-director.
Feb. 10, 2021 – 2718 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, is the new location under consideration to replace the Ginsberg Bakery property as Ideal Institute’s main campus. A Letter of Intent to purchase is signed.
April 2, 2021 – The AC Esports holds its Grand Opening in the Tanger Outlets, Atlantic City.
April 2021 – Purchase of the 2718 Atlantic Avenue Atlantic City property is temporarily tabled due to environmental issues.
June 25, 2021 – Ideal Institute of Technology 2nd graduation, held at the Atlantic City Sheraton.

October 25-27, 2021 – Middle States Association Accreditation team will do a virtual visit at Ideal Institute of Technology.
October 26, 2021 – Middle States Association will recommend that Ideal Institute of Technology is accredited when the commissioners meet in April to approve the recommendation. The MSA evaluation of Ideal was completed in one and one-half days instead of three.
December 11-12 – Held the AC Holiday Pop-Up Market in Atlantic City. The CRDA sponsored the event.

Feb. 16 – Tidewater Workshop made a charitable donation of its woodworking machinery and equipment to Welfare to Work, Inc.
March 21 – We Are AC, LLC. is established. This business will showcase a new student enterprise featuring food trucks.
April 8 – Ideal Education received full accreditation from the Middle States Association for 10 years.
April 29 – Ideal Institute was awarded the Growing Apprenticeship in Nontraditional Sectors (GAINS) grant.

June 22 – Held third annual graduation at the Sheraton Atlantic City. More than 250 family and friends attended. More than 175 students were eligible to graduate.

Aug. 9 – The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine was moved to Ideal Hub at 1000 W. Washington, Pleasantville.
Sept. 24 – Ideal Institute celebrated Community Day with Egg Harbor Township on the grounds of EHT High School.
Sept. 27 – Ideal’s official partnership with EHT High School starts today. We will be training 17 EHT school youths advanced manufacturing on the CNC machine at 1000 W. Washington.
