The Appliance Repair course at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 225-hour training program designed to provide students with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of residential appliances. This course is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in appliance repair or enhance their skills for in-demand technician roles.
Over the course of 225 hours, students will gain practical skills in:
- Troubleshooting and repairing major home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers
- Understanding electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems in appliances
- Using diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Following manufacturers’ guidelines and safety standards
- Practicing safe work habits aligned with OSHA 30 standards
- Communicating effectively with customers and providing excellent service
