PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) course at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 225-hour program designed to prepare students to become skilled technicians capable of diagnosing, restoring, repairing, and replacing critical Cisco networking and system devices. This program provides essential knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining Cisco equipment—a vital skill for professionals supporting enterprise networks.
Over the course of 225 hours, students will develop key competencies in:
- Identifying Cisco equipment, related hardware, and cabling
- Diagnosing and resolving common network problems
- Performing basic troubleshooting on Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices
- Replacing Cisco hardware components and using Cisco’s technical support resources
- Documenting and escalating issues when necessary
- Working with Cisco networking tools and software
- Certification: Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) Certification, an entry-level credential recognized globally in the networking industry
