PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Print & Layout Design with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat course at Ideal Institute of Technology is a 225-hour training program designed to provide students with the essential skills to design and produce professional print materials. This course focuses on the tools and techniques necessary to create effective layouts, manage print production, and optimize documents for digital distribution using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
Over the course of 225 hours, students will gain practical skills in:
- Understanding design principles specific to print media, including layout, typography, and color management
- Creating multi-page documents such as brochures, magazines, and newsletters using Adobe InDesign
- Preparing documents for print, including preflighting and export
- Enhancing and optimizing PDFs for digital distribution using Adobe Acrobat
- Implementing effective workflows for print production and collaboration
- Applying safe work practices and adhering to industry best practices
